Easter Sunday

Ryan and Maren prepared dinner for us and brought it over to the house.  Holli and Kyle had gotten home early from Buna which allowed them to come over to the house, also.  We enjoyed a great ham dinner, macaroni and cheese, rice, salad, green bean casserole, and rolls.  Dessert was left over from Saturday and our tummies were filled to the rim.  We are grateful for our children who are so willing to help us out as our kitchen is being worked on.

You will have to excuse the mess.  We have stuff everywhere because of emptying the kitchen  As I looked at these pictures, I realized the vacuum cleaner was in our gorgeous dining area!

 Holland is always making us laugh.  He is such a happy baby and he decided to entertain us with Hatcher's kennel.  He laughed the whole time he was playing.

 My kitchen!! microwave is in but I won't let Eric use it.  I told him that none of the 

appliances get used until the entire kitchen is finished.

 How do you like the trim?  It looks so great and the black 

and the maple make the kitchen look so great.  And, we

love the recessed lighting.

                                 This is the laundry room.  The washer and dryer will

go in between the cabinets.  So much storage space

Easter Sunday

Since we were all together yesterday, Kyle and Holli went up to Buna to be with Holli's family. Marshall and Shannon went to Houston to be with some of her family.  Chad and Meigan had a quick dinner and then headed to Katy to bring home Emma and Hayes.  I wanted to take a picture of the grandkids that were there today in all of their new dresses and vest and ties; but, everybody had to head out.

Ryan and Maren came by so I was able to take a picture of their family.

We remember that the real celebration is the celebration of life.  Because of our Savior Jesus Christ and His great sacrifice and atonement, He lives again.  And so shall we as we reach the other side to be reunited with our loved ones to be a family again.

Petersen Second Annual Easter Crawfish Boil

Today we were at Marshall and Shannon's for our Second Annual Easter Crawfish Boil.  We had so much fun together.  I am so grateful that the cousins love being with each other : and, oh the adults do also.  Below are some photos from our fun day.
